We have a large range of late model hire cars which range between sedans, hatchbacks, 4WD stationwagons and MPVs with either automatic or manual transmission. All vehicles are equipped with Power Steering, Air Conditioning and Radio/Cassette players. Vehicles are also covered by the Automobile Association 24-Hour Roadside Assistance scheme for your own peace of mind.  All car rental charges include unlimited kilometres, comprehensive insurance ($750 deductible/excess) and all NZ taxes.

Omega Rental Cars has depots in Auckland Airport, Auckland Central, Wellington, Picton, Blenheim, Christchurch, Nelson and Queenstown.

If you wish to explore both the North and South Islands we are able to offer you a free vehicle exchange to save the cost of transporting the vehicle on the ferry. Just return your initial rental car to either Picton or Wellington, board your ferry and we will have a new rental vehicle waiting for you on the other side of Cook Strait.
